Character Personality: Sora is a happy, upbeat young man who always has a bright smile on his face. While seeming a bit on the simple-minded side at times, Sora has a keen sense of justice and has a close connections to his friends, whom he'd do anything for. While he tends to let his anger get the best of him at times, Sora is honest and sincere about what he says and does. He always keeps his heart in the right place and always tries to help those in need, even if those people happen to be on the other side.
Character History: As a child, Sora played happily on his tiny island, blissfully aware of any other worlds outside his own. His heart made several connections with Ventus's, helping it mend when it was weak and letting it join with his own. Sometime later, a young girl washed ashore their small secluded island, raising the sparks that, other worlds were out there. The three grew close and became good friends as time passed.
As they grew older, so did their need to set off to see what else the worlds held for them. In secret, the trio constructed a tiny raft with the intent of adventure. The night before their departure a great darkness began to swallow up their home, taking his friend along with it. After being thrown into the Dark Corridors and thrust into the small world of Traverse Town, where he meets a lively bunch of townspeople. He quickly learns of the keyblade and the powers it holds as well as the existence of other worlds, much like his own, that have been swallowed by darkness. And from there his adventure began.
After a long adventure and the twists and turns, he finally returned the worlds to their former glory. Kairi's heart had been returned, but Riku had been locked behind the Door to the Darkness, along with King Mickey. As he returned Kairi back to the islands he made a promise he'd be back home soon, with Riku in toll.
His adventures then led him to the mysterious Castle Oblivion, a place where you had to lose to gain. It was all just a trap. As he continued further and further into the white castle halls, his memories began to slip. By the time it was all over, he had been put into a chamber to sleep to allow Namine to restore his broken memories. But the process was suddenly halted. A part of Sora's heart was missing and without it, he couldn't wake up. Behind the scenes, Riku helped restore Sora's missing heart to allow him to awaken.
Before him yet another quest awaited him. With the Organization still running rampant, Sora continued on his search for Riku in attempts to bring him back home and to restore the chaotic worlds and bring them back into peace. Each world only held more disappointment as his friend was no where to be found, and lingering thoughts of Kairi plagued his mind. As his journey came to a close, he was finally reunited with his two friends, as Riku and himself fought against Xemnas to end his reign of terror once and for all. Upon doing so, they were thrust into the Dark Margin. A letter from Kairi washes ashore and as Sora reads it, the Door to the Light opens and allows the duo to return home.

Roleplaying Sample:
It had hardly been a year since the events at The World That Never Was unfolded... And after finally settling back down into the quiet lifestyle that his island had to offer, it was suddenly jerked back from underneath him like a slap to the face.
This was the life of a keyblader though. Your job was to defend the worlds and jump to their aid when all other hope had been lost. He had only wished his time here could last a little longer...
Along the warm sandy beaches of Destiny Islands, a body lay sprawled along the shoreline. Bare feet sitting cozy in the sand while the waves gently brushed along the sides of his toes while his arms were crossed behind his head. This place was so... quiet.. So peaceful. It was hard to believe at one point it had been taken over by darkness. That the very sand he was resting on wans't there.
A deep sigh escaped from the back of his throat. He'd have to leave again. There were no questions, no second guesses, only the cold hard facts. He'd have to leave the safety of this world and venture off again. It was his destiny and his fate. But.. what would Kairi and Riku think of this? No.. He couldn't drag them into another mess. He'd have to slip away unnoticed, no matter how much it would hurt them. "This stinks!! There's no winning.." Gloved hands pulled down on his face.
Turning his head, he grasped at the sand clutching in tightly in his hand, the grains slowly slipping away.mocking the remainder of his stay. Time was running short. The longer he stayed here the harder it would be to leave and more worlds would be consumed. Pushing himself to his feet, he dusted out his spiky brown tresses as bright blue eyes stared off into the sea.
"I'm going to miss this place... " He couldn't stall any longer. "Riku.. Kairi.. Take care. I'll be home soon."
